We prefer cookies for horses. But there are some we just can’t get away with not using them for web-sites. Here’s the ABC on what type of cookies are crunching.
A: Mandatory cookies:
We try to keep it simple. When you accept the mandatory cookies aka essential, they are just that. Without them the you might just not be able to browse the site. They are not collecting any private info on you, or your visit.
- Performance and Functionality Cookies (The Helpers)
These track how you are using the site, such as the pages you prefer and alert us if you run into trouble loading certain pages. They also remember the little choices you made (like a preferred language). Makes things easy for everyone.
- Targeting and Advertising Cookies (The Ad Team)
These would come into play if we had useful ads placed by another company in the equine world. We don’t yet. But alas we forget, should they pitch up, those cookies are the ones involved in showing you better ads. They also try to limit how many times you see the same advertisement to improve your visit.
Whilst it makes perfect sense to munch some A cookies, you’re welcome to reject sampling the B & C, just turn them off through your browser.
